Replacement ring for your Niche grinder, originally came in plastic.
Now introducing 2 different finishing! Customers have provided feedbacks that sometimes the ring finishing can cause the grind adjustment to be looser or tighter. This is due to Niche's manufacturing tolerances and also personal preferences.
- Blasted: Our original finishing, finely blasted to hold onto grind adjustments better
- Polished: Smooth surface to help turn grind adjustments easier
Many have the hypothesis that the original plastic ring came with Niche have faults due to
- Hollow middle causing old grinds to accumulate and exit out over time
- Plastic bend/warp during use and lose consistency when changing grinds, more noticeably in finer adjustments
Individuals might have different results and impressions due to age and wear of the original plastic ring. The more seasoned the plastic ring is, the more apparent the difference in taste should be.
These are made CNC milled with 6061 aluminum and hard anodized clear to close pores. These ensure metals will not have a reaction to the food, especially the acidity in coffee.
